Hobby In Retirement – Develops Creative Talent
As police veterans enter into retirement, they continue on their hobbies or develop new interests or activities.
Photography is one interest that many veterans adopt and use their creativity to capture or create images to share with friends and families.
Once such veteran who took up digital photograph is Veteran Harold Feiertag. Over the past few years, Harold thoroughly researched many photography topics and developed a creative eye.
As an avid fly-tie fisherman, he entered some of his images in several sports magazine photo contests. Much to his surprise, Harold won most contests he entered.
Last year, he entered some of his photographs in a Nikon photo contest. Much to his surprise, one of his photographs was selected for a Nikon book entitled “Mastering The Nikon D7100.”
Clearly, Harold has developed a keen creative eye and his photographs are drawing much attention.
With Harold’s approval, we have posted some of his image below for your viewing pleasure.
Harold has a Flickr account where he posts his photographs. We encourage you to visit his Flickr webpage. Click here to go directly to his webpage.
