Subject: Plaque – The Golden Larchetridge
The following was received from fellow Association member David Lambe and is being shared with his permission:
Attached is a photo of a Fly I made a few years ago that I submitted to the S/Sgt. at the Codiac New Brunswick Detachment. I was happy to hear that the widow of Cst. Douglas James Larche accepted the plaque to be displayed at her home rather than display it at the Detachment. What an honour.
Constable Larche loved partridge hunting hence the the name of the fly, the Golden Larchetridge.
