Members of the public and media are invited to the join the family of Constable Allan Poapst, and the law enforcement community as they celebrate his service and mourn his death during an RCMP regimental funeral service.

The funeral will take place on Friday, December 20, 2019, at Bell MTS Place, 300 Portage Avenue, in Winnipeg, at 11:00 am.

The entrance at Portage Avenue and Donald Street will be open to the public at 10:00 am. Guests are asked to be seated by 10:45.

Standard venue security protocol will be in place for all guests entering Bell MTS Place meaning that guests will be required to go through metal detectors before entering the venue.

Media may enter at Media Gate 4 on Hargrave near the corner of Portage beginning at 10 a.m.An update with further details regarding media logistics will be issued Thursday, December 19, 2019.
