For this week, Ric Hall’s photo theme is “Collection Of Photos Received.”

Over the past several weeks, Ric has received many photographs from various individuals across Canada. The received photographs are included below for your viewing pleasure:

Veteran Mel Hart forwarded the following photograph of RCMP Veteran Ted Farrar (Reg. #10607). Ted was one of the original members of the St. Roch and later wrote a book of his adventures entitled “Arctic Assignment.”

Sgt. Dave Hall (son of Ric Hall) received the following photograph from Insp. Egan the OIC Fort St. John Detachment. “We used this at Expo 86 one time only. I discovered this at Island District HQ when I attended a meeting earlier this week.” The accompanying narrative associated to the pennant: “THE R.C.M.P. MUSICAL RIDE’ BROKE WITH TRADITION AND CARRIED THESE PENNANTS WHEN THEY PERFORMED AT ‘”EXPO 86”, ON NORTHWEST TERRITORIES DAY: JUNE 21, 1986

THE PRESENTATION WAS TRIBUTE TO THE UNIQUE RELATIONSHIP THAT EXISTS BETWEEN THE NORTHWEST TERRITORIES, AND THE R.C.M.P. THIS MARKED THE FIRST AND ONLY TIME, THE MUSICAL RIDE WAS PERFORMED, WHEN

MEMBERS DID NOT CARRY THE TRADITIONAL RED AND WHITE PENNANTS. Donated by Mr. Paul Vallillee”

Veteran Sheldon Boles submitted a photograph of a different anniversary RCMP pennant which is on display at the Depot Mess Hall.

The following photograph was received via Veteran Doug Madill and is a photograph of the NWMP Veterans on a float in the Calgary Stampede Parade.
