A few weeks ago, Ric had a photo theme of “Force cannons at ‘Depot’ Division.”  Since that time, he has received many more photographs with members being photographed by one of the cannons.

The photographs are included below for  your viewing pleasure.

Vancouver Police Veteran Bob Young sent in two photographs below of his father – RCMP Sergeant Charles Joseph Young (Reg. #8925).  Charles Young joined the Force on December 1, 1919 after having served in World War I.  While at “Depot” Division, his abilities were quickly identified and was a drill sergeant two years later.

On the right is Bob Amy, who got posted to “B” Div. and a couple of years our of training was shot and killed by an escaped prisoner.”
