S/S/Major Ian Ferguson Retires

Yes, it is now official. The infamous S/S/Major Ian Ferguson has announced his retirement.
The photograph on the left shows Ian holding his completed form 1733.
According to Ian “the story on the yellow suit: I had this suit custom made in Afghanistan last year especially for April 3rd. That was the day I handed in my retirement papers. The suit cost $70, another reason to serve there.”
His last day in the Force will be May 30, 2012 after completing 41 years of service.
For those who do not know Ian, he is the Don Cherry of the RCMP. Married four times and the only member authorized to wear a turban and a kilt at the same time.
His antics on the “E” Division Tactical Team and as a Drill Instructor in Depot are legendary.
