I recently found a National Film Board of Canada film called, “The Days of Whisky Gap”.  It is a 21-minute film, produced in 1961, with rousing tales of the North West Mounted Police brought to life through photos and artist sketches.  Note the spelling of “whisky” in the film, and the “e” was added to “whiskey” for the now deserted town of Whiskey Gap.
